Accountant Remote Position Job ID: R17513 Shift: 1st Full/Part Time: Full_time Location: 750 W Virginia St Milwaukee, WI 53204 Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Exempt 80 hours per pay period.
Under general direction, responsible for completing the day to day general financial accounting processes and the preparation of financial analyses for Advocate Aurora Health (AAH) and its subsidiaries to ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial and statistical data in accordance with U.S.
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), governmental regulations and AAHs accounting policies.
Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of assigned audit responsibilities.
Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of AAHs accounting systems, policies and procedures, process improvements and internal controls.
Works in close partnership with the Financial Planning, Financial Reporting, Tax, Supply Chain, Legal, Human Resources, and Information Technology teams.
