HR Manager for Large Financial Company in Greenville (Great Benefits!)


This is a Full-time position in Greenville, SC posted June 20, 2022.

The People Operations (HR) Manager serves as a firm representative and employee advocate for our people and our business in strategic decisions and day-to-day interactions. The ideal candidate possesses a keen ability to navigate through difficult situations and add value as an extension of the Director of People Operations and the leadership team. Proactive and anticipatory, the HR Manager is highly focused on employee engagement and retention efforts, creating positive connections with our employees and leaders. Requirements: • Bachelor•s degree with 6+ years of HR generalist experience. • HRCI or SHRM certification is strongly preferred. • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset. • High sense of urgency and ability to execute. Strong project management skills. • The ability to maintain confidentiality in all kinds of situations is a must. • Well-versed in all relevant employment law; a strong ability to research and attain information for managing employee relations situations. • Analytical and able to anticipate changes and needs in the employee life cycle and HR landscape. • Strong communication skills • both verbal and written • with an innate ability to build rapport and trust quickly. • Strong computer and technologies skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, HRIS, and other HR software or related applications. • Keen ability to read and assess emotionally charged situations and navigate respectfully, calmly, and appropriately. • Understanding of our firm mission, vision, values, and the ability to properly align HR initiatives and processes to support a positive culture. • Experience in professional services environment is preferred. • Must be able to travel to and be present at firmwide events and to the assigned office(s) on a regular basis.
