Administrative Assistant

This is a Contract position in Spartanburg, SC posted June 23, 2022.

Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.

Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.

Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures.

Effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately, delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Attend meetings and take accurate minutes.

May responsible for accurate and timely physician credentialing.

May direct and lead the work of others.

May manage and coordinate administrative programs and office activities.

Create spreadsheets, manage databases and prepare presentations, reports and documents as needed.

Answer telephones and take messages or transfer calls.

May cover the reception desk when required.

Calendar management, schedule appointments, update calendars and arrange staff meetings.

Coordinate and maintain privileging and credentialing process for physicians.

Process and maintain credentialing for all physicians, nurse practitioners, and any other positions requiring credentialing.

Responsible for development of Governing Body Quarterly Report.

OTHER FUNCTIONS: Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skill Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required.

Associate’s degree preferred.

Two (2) years administrative secretarial experience, preferably in a medical or behavioral health field.

Knowledge of OBHL and JCAHO rules and regulations.

Demonstrate good organizational skills with an ability to prioritize work.
