Desktop Support Technician

Who are we looking for?

The IT Help Desk Technician will provide on-site and remote technical support related to computer systems, hardware, and software.

You will be tech-savvy and will respond to emails, IM chats, or phone queries with excellent technical resolution & a high sense of urgency.

To be a successful IT Help Desk Technician, you will be well-versed in all aspects of computer systems configuration, set up, and maintenance.

You should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

This is not a remote position and may require on-call rotation.

Respond to help desk cases on the phone, via email, in person, or through remote access
Offer technical support on the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software
Train other staff on troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues
Assist with cabling offices as necessary, establishing connectivity to network equipment

What qualifications are needed?

Associate degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience
Strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software
Good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Open to learning new technologies
