Job Responsibilities

In this position you will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop and lead individual and aquatic exercise classes.
  • Provide vocational assessments for consumers with disabilities.
  • Conduct maintenance of indoor pool and spa.
  • Ensure all DHEC regulations are met.Β 


Minimum and Additional Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in a health related field, and at least one year of experience as an aquatic instructor.Β 
  • Red Cross CPR, First Aid and Life Guard Certification or ability to obtain within two months of hire.
  • Licensed Pool Operator Certification or ability to obtain within two months of hire.
If invited to interview, please obtain your Official 10 year driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles to bring with you.Β 

Official transcripts will be required to verify college degree.Β 


Preferred Qualifications


  • Red Cross CPR certification
  • First Aid and Life Guard certification
  • Licensed Pool Operator certification
