Fuel User Group Assistant Manager (Night Shift)

SUMMARY
TICO is an equipment solutions company that has been in business since 1946. TICO manufactures, owns, and operates a fleet of over 1500 terminal tractors (jockey trucks) and trailers deployed in major U.S. ports.Β TICO maintains an on-port and off port fueling operation where we service our own equipment as well as customer equipment.Β We are looking for a highly motivated and customer service-oriented Assistant Fuel User Group Manager for our Charleston, SC location.

Job Requirements:
Ability to receive training on and quickly adapt to using Microsoft Office and all programs used by TICO Fuel User Group to track product distribution. Β
Ability to generate reports using Fuel Master to provide to customers and/or TICO management.
Familiarity with smartphone use to troubleshoot any issues technicians experience in the field while dispensing products.
Ability to assist and train employees with logging into the Fuel Master Live app.
Ability to quickly grasp training on using TICO tank wagons and Flow meter systems to troubleshoot any issues technicians experience in the field while connecting to the flow meters and pumping.
Develop a general knowledge of the pumping systems on tank wagons and troubleshoot issues that arise in the field. Discretion is required to decide when issues need to be addressed by maintenance or a vendor. Β
Perform regular audits on equipment condition and employee adherence to TICO Fuel User Groupβs Standard Operating Procedure.
Candidate must be able to professionally communicate needs with customer representatives in the field and maintenance shop (communication with operators, customer equipment issues, and issues with equipment.)
Track, communicate, and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs for CHS FUG equipment.
Oversee accurate accident, incident, and near miss reporting for CHS FUG employees and equipment with proper communication of photos, documents, and related information.
Oversee training of Charleston Division Fuel User Group employees. This includes training new hires, tracking needs for re-training, and identifying areas where additional training is needed.
Maintaining clear communication with TICO FUG manager for any needs to support the operation.
Oversee employee scheduling to ensure proper coverage for safe operations and customer satisfaction.
Daily oversight and organization of employee paperwork.
Daily review of employee Pre/Post trip inspection forms to ensure accuracy. Β
Flexibility to perform other duties that arise as requested by the leadership team.
Monitor fuel inventory levels, coordinate fuel deliveries with the supplier, and manage inventory records as needed.
Address and resolve any issues or conflicts within the team, and handle customer complaints related to fueling services.
Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication regarding fueling needs and schedules.
Ability to assist in completing nightly route for dispensing multiple products as needed.Β
Directly oversee and take full accountability for all CHS fueling operations, ensuring that the team meets performance standards and operational goals.
Develop a thorough understanding of TICO spill response procedures and perform regular spill response training.
Communicate supply, employee, and equipment needs with management.
Maintain close communication with TICOβs corporate safety director on matters relating to regulations, environmental and safety procedures, issues and concerns
Obtain HAZ MAT/Haz-Whopper training/certification(s)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
TWIC card in possession
Class A or B CDL with tanker/hazmat endorsement a plus
Experience in fueling/petroleum/terminal operations field
