Joint Operations Logistics Planner with Security Clearance

Overview LMI is seeking a Joint Operations Logistics Planner at the client site at Headquarters, U.S. Army Central, Shaw AFB, SC. This effort supports USARCENT Operational Sustainment and USARCENT G-4 on compartmentalized and non-compartmentalized contingency plans as they pertain to operations within the USCENTCOM area of operations. in the USCENTCOM AOR. The candidate will assist in planning, logistics estimates, concepts of support, and coordinate with Joint Service Component Commands and subordinate headquarters. Broad thought and experience are required to understand the effects of long-range, near- term, and current operations into the build of the Theater’s posture. T he candidate must possess an active DoD Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) clearance. Responsibilities * Develop detailed concepts commensurate with presentation at the three- and four-star level utilizing an in-depth knowledge of all facets of sustainment and its integration. * Relate concepts into detailed executable plans and create Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) to support mobilization of assets. Review plans for accuracy and compliance and submit prior to the established suspense. * Translate quantify life support requirements into complete estimates for submission to engineering planners for base materials estimates. Review estimates for accuracy and compliance and ensure submissions are generally free of errors. * Integrate strategic direction into a command message that encompasses the future design of operations into communications that enfranchises all partners in the sustainment enterprise. Draft, edit and proofread all communications. Submit written communication free of errors with appropriate timing, content, or * Develop clear and concise communications campaign to secure USARCENT objectives across a number of parallel * Assist USARCENT G4 develop detailed operational plans to integrate single or multi-nation participation in defensive plans for countries or areas in the USCENTCOM area of operations. These plans shall nest seamlessly into specific country defensive plans and be illustrated during USARCENT security cooperation exercises. * May be required to travel to remote locations and provide site survey estimates for emerging mission requirements. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree with 11 years of experience or advanced degree with 9 years of experience. * Three years of experience working at a Joint, Army, or Component-level headquarters. * Graduate of military Intermediate Level Education (MEL4) program, the Support Operations Course (Phase 2) or similar course. * Logistics experience in deployment/combat in a support operations position. * Functional understanding of: * The Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP). * Army sustainment enterprise at the Department of the Army-level and how it relates to other procuring headquarters. * USTRANSCOM and other ASCC headquarters to ensure strategic lines of communication are nested with current capabilities to enlist support across a wide array of sustainment organizations. * Recent experience (last three years) working at a one-star or higher-level command. * Superior written communication skill sets, free of errors and taking into consideration timing, content, and * Strong oral, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and adaptable to flexible work styles, environments, and locations. * Ability to coordinate and build consensus among a wide cross-section of stakeholders. Comfortable briefing General Officers and Senior Executives. * Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance. A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.
