1st Shift Maintenance Technician – Precision Milling-Pre-Machining Company

• Aluminum cast and rods for general engineering
• Opening because of growth. Has gone from 7 employees to 32 in the last three years. Current Maintenance/Production Manager started at the ground level.

Your Day:

• Mechanical and light electrical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment such as ban saws, CNC machines and support machines.
• Troubleshooting includes but is not limited to hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, changing rollers and fly wheels, general oil, greasing and coolant work.
• Demand maintenance normally involves replacement of failed components such as, cylinders, valve, actuators, motors, switches and relays.
• Other project related work, in downtime, might include safety and protective upgrades, digital upgrades and more.

Background Profile

• Prefers 2+ years of mechanical trouble-shooting and light electrical trouble-shooting exposure in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with and read Blue Prints and Schematics.
• Excellent verbal communication, team and interpersonal skills; strong leadership, organization change and organizational skills; excellent trouble-shooting, problem solving and technical abilities; ability to control and improve internal processes.
