Commercial Real Estate Paralegal – Up to $60K – Great Benefits!


This is a Full-time position in Greenville, SC posted August 5, 2022.

This Commercial Real Estate Paralegal Position Features: • Competitive Benefits Package • Family Oriented Environment • Great Location In Downtown Greenville • Great Pay Up to $65K (Depending on Experience) An established real estate development company in Greenville is a full-service real estate development company. Developments across the company include retail/NNN, residential, industrial, and entertainment projects. When you work with this team, you work with experienced commercial real estate professionals who provide single-source project management. They have the in-house resources to deliver projects on time and within an agreed-upon budget. With total real estate investments over $1 billion, the company has maintained the family-business mentality while growing substantially in size across their key asset classes. Their aggressive diversification and growth goals have led them to seek out an experienced commercial real estate paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate should have uncompromising integrity and have demonstrated success in the commercial real estate industry. Key Responsibilities/Duties: Draft sales contracts or purchase contracts as requested. • Draft Estoppels. • Draft Lease Agreements and Amendments. • Draft Side Letter Agreements. • Create a Seller•s Deliveries file on the server and move any and all documents to be provided to purchaser per the contract to this folder. • Draft letter to Purchaser and anyone else noted in the notice section of the sales contract detailing each document to be provided as part of the Seller•s Deliveries. • Create a CD containing a copy of all of the documents in the Seller•s Deliveries folder and forward with letter to all applicable parties listed in the notice section of a sales contract. • Obtain proposals for due diligence. • Order and track due diligence for projects • Review title and survey • Obtain copies of all title exception documents and save to system • Request title objection letters as applicable • Review Phase I • Close on acquisition and sale of projects • Work with Director of Legal on review of projects moving into closing; • Work as needed on organizing and filing project files • Work with other team members as requested Skills/Education: • Education: Paralegal Degree preferred • 3 – 5+ years of direct commercial real estate experience • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Highly detail-oriented with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a high workload • Process driven What Makes This Company Great To Work For: • Medium-sized company with about 30 team members that maintains a family-oriented atmosphere. • Exceptional longevity with employees due to the environment, competitive compensation and benefits packages and opportunities for professional growth. • Benefits include: • Options for medical, dental and vision coverage • Life insurance options offered for team members based on salary • Disability coverage options • 401(k) contribution plans AppleOne is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
