Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking an F-35 Contractor Field Team Modification Kit Coordinator based at MCAS Miramar. This is a DoN F-35 program CFT operations to cover five total sites throughout the US and the selected candidate’s performance will help Northrop Grumman achieve superior results on the highly visible F-35 program. The selected candidate will primarily support the execution of CFT MRO&U operations at MCAS Miramar, with the potential to cover NAS Lemoore, MCAS Beaufort, MCAS Cherry Point or MCAS Yuma in the future if the requirements
The selected candidate will manage turnaround assets including interfacing daily with on-site Organic supply personnel to ensure shipping, tracking, receiving, and distribution is timely and complete. Additional duties will include kit management, scheduling, material content, and usage and trend analysis. Interfacing with Supply Chain including program buyers and item managers to include day-to-day status tracking of parts/kits shipments.
Provide logistical support
Tracks and expedites Mod parts and Tooling Kits
Preparing and/or coordinating required shipping documentation of source of repair
Generates orders, tracks, and returns inventories to USIC for supplies thru the MOR system
Responsible for HPR consumables Inventory/Ordering
Identifies, coordinates, and ships broken and Calibrated tools (Ryder)
Sorts, tracks, and turns-in aircraft parts for refurbishment or back to the supplier
Responsible and reports to F-35 CFT Mod Lead for mod/kit inventory lists are accounted for prior to induction
Ensures parts provisioning via the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) requirements are in place to receive assets, primarily within the CMMS module
Monitoring receipt of the item at source of repair
Providing Supply Chain Management for storage and inventory of all parts kits and supplies to include transportation of the assets being returned into the supply chain pipeline
Ordering serialized and consumable parts for aircraft
Knowledge of Workbooks, procedures, and forms.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and 4 years work experience; or an Associate degree and 2 years’ work experience
Performance Based Logistics (PBL)/Supply Chain Management concepts and performance requirements experience
Aircraft modification kit/spares/inventory management systems experience
Active Secret Level Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required)
Must be able to successfully complete and pass government required F-35 trainings (Advanced Technical Training and/or Cadre Course) for continued employment
Must be willing to provide temporary support to our other CFT locations at NAS Lemoore, MCAS Beaufort, MCAS Cherry Point, or MCAS Yuma should the need arise
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with aircraft component repair cycle management; repairs process, tracking, expediting, Mission Capable (MICAP) management, transportation management
Experienced user of MS Office computer programs to accomplish reports, logs, and briefings
Experience with Supply/Inventory management to include: shelf-life, electrostatic discharge (ESD) component handling
Exceptional organizational, administrative, and planning skills with prior experience managing complex tasks and suppliers.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Salary Range: $50,000.00 – $83,400.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
