Fabric Planning Associate

Fabric Planning Associate

We are looking for a detail oriented and flexible team player to track, analyze and manage fabric inventory. Position requires working with multiple product categories and internal teams. This is an associate level position with opportunity for growth.

General Responsibilities

  • Ensuring fabric availability through monitoring and maintaining fabric inventory. Alerts team of any estimated shortages, overages or delays.
  • Processing, tracking and documenting status for open production orders through all stages of production.
  • Verifying fabric inventory on a weekly and quarterly basis. Identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Responsible for communicating notice of changes to factories
  • Analyze, report and review fabric delivery
  • Key player in weekly production schedule reviews, providing delivery dates and information.
  • Works closely with cross functional sales, buying and production teams, communicating and alerting of any potential delays.
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams and OneDrive
  • Familiar with ERP/PLM systems. Blue Cherry Infinity experience preferred.
  • Must be efficient and organized with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to independently organize and prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Flexibility a must.
  • Interest and experience in apparel industry preferred.
