Charleston, SC is looking for highly motivated and experienced individuals to join our Front Desk/Guest Services team.

Individuals should have a bright personality and strong desire to exceed in the Hospitality field.

Job Types: Part-time – Full-time *3PM
– 11PM primarily* , weekends required.

$13.00 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY

Accommodate hotel guests by registering and assigning rooms to guests, issuing room keys or cards, transmitting and receiving messages, keeping records of occupied rooms and guests’ accounts, making and confirming reservations, addressing guest requests and complaints, and presenting statements to and collecting payments from departing guests.

General responsibilities
Check guests into and out of hotel in an accurate, efficient and courteous manner
Efficiently and accurately handles all payments received at the property.

this may be in the form of cash, credit card, etc
Provide guests with appropriate room assignments, room keys, directions to rooms and general information regarding the hotel, its amenities and the surrounding area and its businesses.
Assist guests with issues and complaints, with empathy and a focus on guest satisfaction
Answer incoming calls within 3 rings with the appropriate greeting.
Greet guests warmly and perform registration procedures
Post all charges to guest accounts in an accurate and timely manner.

Upon checkout ensure that all charges and collect payment.
Sell and confirm room reservations using selling techniques and strategies
Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:
Previous front desk experience is a plus
Excellent written and oral skills required
Positive interpersonal skills required
Excel and Word proficiency is desired
