Plans and Exercises Coordinator with Security Clearance

Contingent Upon Award Job Description: * The 25 OSS Plans and Exercises Coordinator assists in a variety of training and operation planning functions. These functions include planning and coordinating not only named exercise events such as Red Flag, but also live fire events and virtual events utilizing Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) capabilities which facilitate training via networked, simulated combat environments. * Assist with the 432 WG Exercise Approval Process and The Contractor shall formally accept or reclama tasked exercises on behalf of concerned 25 ATKG units; Update and track unit involvement in exercises such as RED/GREEN FLAG and provide updates at weekly meetings; Regularly brief squadron leadership about the availability and requirements of upcoming exercises; Consolidate and maintain applicable exercise after action reports, update slide show presentations, schedule official meetings, records meeting minutes, and assist squadron exercise project officers with exercise planning; Coordinate with applicable weapons and training shops to ensure learning objectives are identified in advance, feasible in planning and achieved in execution; Appropriately disseminate planning and schedule data on secret and unclassified computer systems as required; Act as unit interface with coordinate with exercise reps and scheduling shops from participating units as required; Maintain a working knowledge of applicable AFIs and regulations which impact operational and virtual exercise execution; May assist in generating, tracking and briefing basic exercise metrics at the discretion of the unit Commander; Advise applicable units and scheduling POCs of changes to plans caused by unforeseen circumstances and strive to mitigate adverse effects of last-minute changes. Experience Level: * Three (3) years of experience working in/with the military * Two (2) years of experience working as a DoD Flying Squadron Flight Scheduler Education Level: * Bachelor’s degree Clearance Level: * DoD Secret Security Clearance Other Information EEO Employer F/M/Vet/Disabled
