Quality Assurance Inspector

WorkSmart Staffing is hiring for Quality Assurance Inspector II in the Greenville area.

The Quality Assurance Inspector II performs inspections on product produced on the packaging line according to the specifications listed in the Packaging Batch Record (PBR).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Awareness and implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Knowledge and application of Good Documentation Practices (GDP), resulting in minimal documentation errors.
Complete any documentation errors in a timely manner.
Responsible for following safety procedures and requirements, including reporting any incidents immediately.
Correctly calculate the Acceptance Quality Limit (AQL) value of each assigned packaging line in a timely manner and inspect accordingly.
Inspect every assigned packaging line using extreme attention to detail to ensure high-quality product is being produced.
Exhibit effective time management by completing first article inspections, start-up, and shut-down requirements of assigned packaging lines accurately.

Be aware and adaptable to changes with the production plan throughout shift.
Possess the ability to read, understand, and interpret Packaging Bath Record (PBR) instructions, rework instructions, and deviations.
Ensure all required documents are completed, reviewed, and included in the Packaging Batch Record (PBR).
Urgently create accurate shipper case labels to avoid delay of packaging lot start-up.
Gather all samples required for laboratory testing and retain archives from assigned packaging lines.
Ensure that any issues that occur during production are documented accurately, specifically, and clearly.
Awareness and implementation of deviations affecting assigned packaging lines.
Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production needs.
Willingness and ability to train other Quality Assurance Inspectors as needed.
Display the ability to perform all job duties and responsibilities at a higher-than-average level.
Other Required Skills and Abilities
Maintain a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Display a sense of urgency to show responsiveness to requests.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure continued audit preparedness.
Be punctual and maintain an excellent attendance record.
Always represent the Quality department in a positive and professional manner.
Be able to learn and adapt to changes quickly.
Always maintain a teamwork attitude with an eagerness to help others.
Be self-motived and show initiative to complete all required task in a timely manner.
Possess the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
