Senior .NET Engineer (Remote)

Medically Home is focused on providing a high quality, highly functional and comprehensive solution for evolving patient needs, especially around the hospital at home model of healthcare. In addition to technology services directly related to remote care, this ecosystem includes ancillary services, such as vendor integration, billing, and coverage assessments. As part of the Business Technology Team, you’ll be focused on the technical investigation and requirements gathering, prototyping, and development of highly complex solutions. Use of these services are crucial to Medically Home’s goals of extending a safer and higher quality model of healthcare to patients in a system that’s more efficient and affordable to our customers than traditional brick and mortal hospitals.

As a software engineer on the Business Technology team, you will contribute to building out internal software solutions critical to our hospital-at-home platform.

Reports To: Senior Director, Software Engineering

Location: Remote

Travel: up to 10% to our Boston Headquarters

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software development as a member of the Business Technology team.
• Participate in agile ceremonies to track and refine work processes.
• Work with the Product Owner and other team members to scope potential product features.
• Collaborate with the team lead to formalize service contracts and data structures.
• Implement industry best practices around service reliability and scalability.
• Become competent in the field of medical vendor services, especially around the transactional billing aspects.

Qualifications

• Experience in Software as a Service companies that provide highly available, mission critical infrastructure.
• .NET Software engineering experience in a cloud-based SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of database technologies, including schema design, transactions, and query patterns.
• Ability to understand, spec, build and document highly complex workflows.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies.
• Experience building and deploying services to Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
• 5+ years of experience writing cloud-hosted services.
