Staff Veterinarian

Advance Vet Care is a small town canine and feline practice. We are:

• Family owned and run
• In close proximity to Myrtle Beach
• No nights
• No weekends
• No on-call shifts. (afterhours emergencies are referred to the emergency clinic in Myrtle)
• Experienced staff with a very low turnover rate
• Full time hopefully long term position
• Competitive salary (120k-200k per year depending on experience level and contract details)

• Daily tasks include:
  • collecting patient history
  • recommending and administering vaccinations
  • performing annual physical examinations and sick visit examinations, charting the findings and discussing the treatment plans with clients
  • prescribing and charting medications
  • recommending and interpreting imaging and labwork
  • performing surgery including but not limited to: spays/neuters/dentals and tooth extractions/soft tissue surgery and growth removals/exploratory surgeries

Our current veterinarian is an experienced surgeon and clinician, and he is happy to teach specific procedures as they arise.
