Job Description Looking for qualified individual(s) to fill opening(s) for Toll Collector. Applicants must meet the following requirements. Openings on 1st shift (10 PM to 6 AM) and 3rd shift (2 PM to 10 PM). Essential Functions of the Job (listed in order of importance): Work collecting tolls in tollbooth where exposed to all types of weather and elements such as pollens and automobile exhaust. Professionally greet Patrons with friendly smile and “thank you”. Accurately collect cash, process credit cards and dispense proper change and receipts. Work a set schedule in alternating lanes, with regular days off. Mandatory Overtime as needed. Provide information regarding travel routes, attractions, etc. in a professional manner. Marginal Job Functions: Work as a relief colector on some days. Distribute marketing brochures. Accurately account for unusual occurrences by completing reports. Skills Required to Perform the Duties of the Job: Prior cash handling experience. Customer service skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Neat and professional appearance. Must pass drug test, credit check and criminal background check. Educational Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job: High School Diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements to Perform the Duties of the Job: Lifting up to 50 lbs. Climbing 6 flights of stairs, multiple times per day. Sitting, walking or standing for long periods of time. Applicant must have correctable vision.
