ABOUT THIS POSITION: The main purpose of the Line Assistant is for vacation and absentee coverage. If the Line Assistant is not required to be in a process, then they support other activities in their zone as directed by the Team Leader.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Function Leadership: Vacation and absentee coverage Zone support WHO WE ARE SEEKING: REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE: Manufacturing experience (6 months minimum) REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma / or GED equivalent DESIRED SKILLS: Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision Understand all aspects of the job (Weld Process flow, welding and multiple process type knowledge. i.e., part numbers, welding fixture operation) Good communication skills Willingness to learn and perform any weld process
