They must create and maintain a vibrant atmosphere while ensuring guest satisfaction.

The Lead Front Desk Agent is a full-time position.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Initial on site contact for the Guest registration and check out process and communication of Hotel services and informationCollect Guest information and method of paymentResponds to Guest inquiries about the Hotel and surrounding areaResolve guest issues appropriately and escalating when necessaryCoordinates Guest requests with other departments as required (bell, housekeeping, restaurant, food and beverage, etc.)Follows safety standards, and upholds all policies and proceduresWorks as a trainer and coach for new employees under the direction of FOMSupervises the team in the absence of a Manager Job Requirements:Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presents a professional demeanorStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableFlexibility in scheduling with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysIdeal candidate will have: Previous customer related experience in a hospitality or retail environmentPrior experience with Fosse, Office, and various other computer programs One year experience in a similar roleMust be a team player and a brand advocate to help promote our culture within the department and the hotelPhysical Requirements: Constant standing and walking throughout shiftOccasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbsAbility to operate computer and process methods of paymentThe AC Hotel by Marriott New Orleans is an equal opportunity employer M/F/V/D (ref.
