Job description

The goal is to increase our focus on the Product Management & Sales Support for Dynapac Compaction Products in North America Region. The Product Manager for Compaction will guide and support the internal and external stakeholders in terms of product sales and application by developing right tools to go-to-market for the product lines assigned. The Product Manager will also focus on identifying the gap in product portfolio and work closely with the global team to develop products needed for the market to increase Sales, Profitability and Market share.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the product line Compaction (Compact and Heavy) for the North America Region. Be the product expert/mentor for the assigned product line for Sales & Application.
  • Oversee the development and marketing of the Compaction portfolio for Dynapac in the Region, safeguarding competitiveness while exploring and exploiting synergies with the other Product Lines.
  • Continuous market analysis in the region changing trends to ensure products meet market requirements. Identify gaps in products and solutions for the assigned product line and develop business case for product development.
  • Work in close cooperation with the Global Marketing team to develop product/business solutions that will ensure customer satisfaction in the region.
  • By closely working with Sales to ensure that the targets in terms of sales, consolidated profitability and market shares are continuously met.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and provide continuous marketing support to the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop go-to-market strategy and tools for the existing and new products so that the internal and external stakeholders can successfully to go to market.
  • Active analysis and follow-up of competitor product lines and solutions in the region. Closely monitor competitive landscape and identity our Strengths and potentials for Dynapac.
  • Develop Marketing and Communication material with the support of the Global Marketing team and mutually coordinate new product launches
  • Develop needed training plans for Sales and Application team (internal and external teams)
  • Active participation in Trade Shows, Trade associations and Product Demonstrations.
  • Positively promote the name, image, and reputation of Dynapac within our customer base as well as internally with our employees and third-party stakeholders in conformity with established guidelines
  • Ensure that Group processes are implemented and followed.
  • Carry out additional duties and occasional project work as needed.



  • Product Management professional with strong B-B and B-C experience
  • Prior experience in compaction product line in Engineering/Product Management/Application support.
  • You have a strong aptitude towards working principles of construction/ industrial machinery
  • You are a cross functional influencer & be able to collaborate across several departments within the company
  • Contributes to maintaining positive customer relations, able to build morale and follow through on commitments, goals, and objectives
  • You have self-drive, motivation to always seek out a better way and you must be a team player.
  • You are proficient with web applications as well as Microsoft Suite


  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering/business management/marketing or similar experience.
  • Three to five years of Industrial experience in engineering/product management/application support
  • International experience and exposure within sales and marketing is advantageous.

  • Must be able to travel throughout the Dynapac North America Region and globally (minimal) as needed. The travel requirement will be up to 75% of the time during Trade show season and up to 60% during non-trade show season.

Location: Fort Mill, SC (Charlotte, NC Region)/ Remote position considered for suitable candidates; Being authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment.
