I. SUMMARY: Perform repetitive line or bench assembly operations to mass-produce products, such as height adjusters, suspensions, and complete commercial seating systems.
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble products in compliance with quality standards.
Meet daily production requirements.
Maintain clean and safe workstations – 5S.
Maintain standardized work. Follow Lean principles.
Adhere to IMS. Adhere to all company safety policies.
Understand and implement product quality standards both internal and externally provided (Customer Specific Requirements).
Understanding and practicing the authority to stop production builds and shipment of product due to product quality concerns.
III. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
IV. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions.
V. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
VI. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and write.
VII. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measures.
VIII. REASONING ABILITY: Displays the willingness to make decisions and exhibits sound and accurate judgement.
IX. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift 50-75lbs. Ability to stoop, kneel, reach, bend, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
