Primary ResponsibilitiesÂ
• Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar in an attractive abundant looking, organized, clean and standardized presentation.Â
• Taking inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each dayÂ
• Ordering or purchasing food suppliesÂ
• Preparing foods such as fresh fruit, coffee and juicesÂ
• Setting up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups and other productsÂ
• Setting out/arranging cold food such as sweet rolls, muffins and cerealÂ
• Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacatedÂ
• Wiping up spillsÂ
• Removing trashÂ
• Restocking self-service food and supplies as neededÂ
• Washing serving equipment and returning it to storageÂ
• Returns reusable food supplies to storageÂ
• Vacuums & sweeps carpets & floorsÂ
• Mops floors Â
• Dusts, brushes, polishes, & vacuums furnitureÂ
• Dusts & cleans room decorations, appliances, & structural surfaces (e.g. wall fixtures, window sills, vents, etc.; using appropriate cleaners designated by immediate supervisor • Inspects areas for safety hazards & for the operating conditions of equipmentÂ
• Reports lost & found articles, maintenance problems (common areas) to your immediate supervisor and maintenance Â
• Providing excellent guest serviceÂ
• Wear proper clothing based on company policy and brand standard including non-slip shoes • Other duties as assignedÂ
Â
Education/ExperienceÂ
• One year hostess experience in restaurant is requiredÂ
• Prior hospitality experience preferredÂ
• Customer Service experienceÂ
• Knowledge of health department standards of food sanitation and safety practices
