Manage a team of analysts in the accurate and timely retrieval, compilation, and distribution of data reports and/or dashboards routinely used by internal departments and customers to make critical business decisions. Analysis may include medical costs and trending for senior management, clinical measures, limited underwriting, and provider and operations-based analytics.

Location: This position is onsite at 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee the activities of analysts in the assigned area. Monitor the reporting process and maintain area-specific data. Ensure reports are completed in a timely and correct manner.

  • Respond to inquiries from customers and internal areas, often working with staff to handle requests.

  • Process complex analytic requests, typically clinical in nature. Run and analyze reports and statistics as needed.

  • Coordinate with the information systems department to implement/troubleshoot data transfer to customers.

  • Participate in or lead various committees and work groups.

To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need the Following:

Β Bachelor's degree in a job-related field

5 years of progressively responsible healthcare data analysis and reporting experience.

Microsoft Office. Excellent knowledge of mainframe systems and database design.

Requires Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent presentation and analytical or critical thinking skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of statistical concepts.

  • Ability to use complex mathematical calculations.

  • Proficient spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

We Prefer That You Have the Following:

  • Medicare/Medicaid experience

  • Experience with statistical programming software (SAS, SQL).

  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Tableau or Power BI).

  • Solid experience in data analysis and reporting; industry experience is a plus.
