Description

Job Duties/Responsibilities:


Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.

Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook.

Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and to rooms.

Take down dining table areas and collect plates, glasses etc.

Discard leftovers and takes out out garbage.

Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.

Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.

Helps with cleaning kitchen area, equipment and appliances.



Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:


Proven experience as a Dining Room Attendant

Strong Customer Service Skills

Friendly with good communications skills

Good physical condition and stamina

Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines

Skilled in preparing meals according to instructions

Ability to work with bakeware, cookware and cooking appliances.


Education and Experience:


Senior living experience preferred but not required.

Certification in food services is a plus


Physical Requirements:


Prolonged periods of walking and standing.

Must be able to lift, carry and place up to 50 pounds at a time

Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
