What you will do:Β
Responsible for meeting customer expectations while performing quality inspections.Β Β
How you will do it:Β
Perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, installing, and preventative maintenance of life safety product lines as well as similar competitive manufacturer's product lines.Β
Work with low-voltage wiring and associated devices for the operation of low-voltage equipment.Β
Learn to complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices, such as laptop computers and/or hard copy.Β
Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule.Β
Input, retrieve, and archive inspection documentation program via the laptop computer.Β
Make minor repairs and programming changes while under direct authorized supervision.Β
Complete assigned inspections on time.Β
Perform other duties as assigned.Β
What we look for:Β
RequiredΒ
3-5 years of documented experience in sprinkler systems.
Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State, and Local codes.Β
Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, program schematics, and operational/product manuals.Β
Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.Β
High School Diploma or equivalent required.Β
Demonstrates an aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs.Β
Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.Β
Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.Β
Demonstrate a high level of customer service.Β
Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.Β
Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.Β
Possess a valid driverβs license and driving record that meets company requirements.Β
Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.Β

NICET Level 2 certification in water-based systems.
