I.ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย Position Summary:
ย 
The Guest Experience Crew Member reports directly to the Guest Services Coordinator.ย  This position is responsible for greeting visitors to the Convention Center and ensuring accurate information is provided in a positive manner.

II.ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
ย 
โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย Welcomes on-site visitors entering the facility and directs people to the correct destination while ensuring CMCC policies and procedures and event-specific directives are followed.
โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย Acknowledge and thank guests for visiting upon their departure.
โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย Responsible for giving accurate event information, directions, and information to callers.
โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย May be assigned to maintain coverage at the guest services desk during normal business hours and as scheduled on evenings andย  ย  weekends
ย โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย Communicate to employees via radio when appropriate.
ย โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย Distribute lost and found items to the security department and redirect related inquiries appropriately.ย 
โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย May interact with all department heads, all employees, and external vendors.
โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย Required to attend applicable organization training and meetings.
โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย  Keep guest services desk items organized and out of public view.
โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย All other duties as assigned.

โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย Excellent customer service and positive attitude.
โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย Must be able to interact with people from various backgrounds.
โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย Must have patience and adaptability to changes.
โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย Ability to stand or walk for long periods.

ย IV.ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  Education/Qualifications Required:
ย 
โ€ขย  ย  ย  ย High School Diploma (or GED/High School Equivalent certificate) and at least one (1) year of relevant work experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Compensation: $13.00 per hour
