As a Line Cook, you are responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes to deliver a memorable guest experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Responsibilities
- Read, prepare and present high quality recipes and dishes using fresh ingredients (i.e., meats, fish, vegetables, cheese etc.) through various preparation methods (i.e., bake, grill, steam, fry, mash, etc.)
- Prepare all mise en place for all relevant menus.
- Comply with hotel, city, count, and state fire, food safety and sanitation regulations/standards.
- Keep work area clean and assist with kitchen duties
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
- Being aware of department targets and goals and striving to achieve them as part of the culinary team.
