Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in support of delivering expert dermatology medical care to our patients. Day-to-day activities will vary from greeting and interacting with patients, collecting patient intake information, returning phone calls, responding to electronic patient correspondence, performing point-of-care testing, scribing in the electronic medical record system, setting up exam rooms and preparing for surgical procedures as well as assisting with surgical procedures all while executing our goal to provide first-rate patient care.Â
Overall, the Medical Assistant has a direct interaction with patients and is an integral component in helping deliver our mission of bringing state-of-the-art expertise and patient care to our clientele.
