Responsible for processing current deaths of service members and their dependents, Department of the Army Civilians (DACs), active duty National Guard and Army Reservists.
Coordinate with other Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFS) and Emergency Management services in the Casualty Assistance Center area of responsibility.
Maintain appropriate suspense systems, files and databases for preparation and submission of all required documentation.
Brief and provide information to the next of kin regarding entitlements involving the removal, preparation, transportation and interment of remains.
Serve as a member of a disaster response team in the search, recovery, evacuation, and identification of remains at an accident site.
