You will be the Production Structures/Assembler, F16 Technician for the Lockheed Martin Greenville Production Team. Our team is responsible for Production build, repair and delivery of F-16 aircraft to our customers.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Production Structures/Assembler, F16 Technician you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs and repairs various sheet metal and structural assemblies and sub-assemblies for F16 aircraft utilizing precision measuring equipment.
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as production structural assembly technicians on our F-16 production line. As a new member of our team, you will undergo an intensive 6-week training program that combines hands-on experience in a shop setting with classroom instruction. This comprehensive training is designed to equip you with the basic skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role.

The candidate will be required to:
β’ Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
β’ Use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
β’ Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on or in the aircraft.
β’ Frequently lift and/or push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or push or pull up to 50 pounds.
β’ Perform repetitive movements and work overhead.
β’ Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.
β’ Properly use, handle and dispose of hazardous materials, and toxic or caustic chemicals per Government regulations and company procedures.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed to perform job tasks. The employee is regularly exposed to vibration.
