Job Description

  • Ensure quality assurance and inspection policies and procedures are followed throughout the area of responsibility
  • Decide on final disposition of off-standard products, in cooperation with QM and PI. Also ensuring disposition is carried out in a a timely manner
  • Assure appropriate in-process key quality characteristics are over-inspected at the required frequency and appropriate actions are taken
  • Report, analyze and steer actions of SCRAP I-IV reduction within the respective process.

  • Report, analyze and steer actions of SCRAP I-IV reduction within the respective process.
  • Provide guidance to Company's Quality Management Systems
  • Persuade staffs to live "problem solving" culture (corrective and preventive actions)
  • Additional tasks if required by direct supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in an engineering or related field
  • 3 - 5 Years in the automotive manufacturing industry
  • 2-3 Years in tire manufacturing and or Quality management
  • Experience with quality management tools (SPC, FMEA, 8D, PPAP, MSA, etc.)
  • This role is an internal only position, external applicants will not be considered for this role
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
