Bachner Electro USA is looking for a Safety Manager to join our growing team! Since 1920, we have been at the forefront of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering industry, providing top-notch service to our clients. Today, we are flourishing in the Upstate as a security technology wiring and systems corporation and we need your help to keep up the momentum.Β 


Duties/Responsibilities:Β 

  • Create and maintain comprehensive safety programs, policies, and procedures tailored to construction site operations.Β 
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance.Β 
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for all employees, subcontractors, and vendors to promote a culture of safety awareness.Β 
  • Lead investigations of safety incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.Β 
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety evaluations to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.Β 
  • Maintain accurate safety records and reports, tracking key performance indicators and trends to present to management.Β 
  • Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and crew members to foster a proactive safety culture on all job sites.Β 
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct drills to prepare for potential emergencies.Β 
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes, continuously seeking ways to enhance safety performance.Β 

Requirements

Qualifications:Β 

  • Active OSHA 300 certificationΒ 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferredΒ 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in safety management within the construction industry
  • High School Diploma or equivalent requiredΒ 
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standardsΒ 
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is a plus
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsΒ 
  • Proven ability to analyze data and implement effective safety solutionsΒ 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detailΒ
