The Tropical Grille Shift Leader performs various functions to effectively manage both the human and material resources of their restaurant to achieve company goals. They must possess a positive attitude, have strong attention to detail, be honest and reliable, always maintain a professional demeanor, be guest focused, have excellent communication skills with a passion to lead.
Major Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities Include:
路 Coordinate daily Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations.
路 Lead your team to success.
路 Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
路 Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
路 Regularly review product quality.
路 Organize and supervise shifts and stay at prescribed labor budgets.
路 Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations. (DHEC)
路 Manage restaurant鈥檚 good image and suggest ways to improve it.
路 Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and events.
路 Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
路 Ability to delegate tasks
Requirements
路 This may be a part time or full time position depending on the needs of the store.
路 Reliable transportation.
路 Strong food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and front staff
路 Familiarity with restaurant management software, like MobileBytes, Heartland Restaurant and others.
路 Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
路 Time management skills
