Adjunct Welding Instructor (temporary)

Responsibilities are to conduct classroom instruction in welding (structural and pipe), Welding fundamentals, and other classes pertaining to welding; conduct demonstrations of welding processes; conduct hands on training in the following processes: Oxy-acetylene welding, brazing, soldering, and cutting-hand held, track torch, pipe bevel/cutter. ARC welding (SMAW-Beginning, Advanced and Pipe, all positions); TIG welding (GTAW all positions – all appropriate materials), OFC and GMAW.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline, or associate's degree and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
The minimum as listed, plus 5 years work experience. Prefer an AWS certified welder. Must be able to drive a fork-lift and must have a valid driver's license.
