The EMT, under the direction of the Paramedic act as a member of the healthcare team to perform delegated patient care duties in the department assigned.聽

THE ADVANCED EMT FULL TIME NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

1. Department Knowledge and Experience 路 At least one year full time experience as a 911 EMS provider preferred.
2. Formal Education 路 High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required 路 Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
3. Licensure and Certification: 路 South Carolina EMT basic certification 路 Nationally Registered EMT certification within one year of employment 路 South Carolina and National Registry Advanced EMT required within one year of employment if hired on or after 9/8/15 路 BCLS required 路 PALS or PEPP required within orientation period 路 NIMS compliant with Incident Command/Incident Management within orientation period o 100, 200, 700, 800 路 Valid South Carolina or North Carolina Drivers License
