Art Director / Senior Graphic Designer
RECON WEAR, the premier apparel brand outfitting U.S. Army & Air Force Soldiers and Families, is looking for a 7 year plus, experienced Art Director / Senior Graphic Designer to join our growing Marketing Team!
RECON WEAR is an Active Wear apparel brand headquartered in NE Columbia, SC primarily serving Fort Jackson Army Soldiers in Basic Training and their family members. We have been creating and producing custom Platoon Shirts, Jackets, Hats and Gear for over 20 years!
Our new Art Director MUST have 7 or more years working in a professional setting, exhibit creative problem solving, and the ability to work fast and hit tight deadlines. Will work On-Site in NE Columbia.
Mon-Fri 8:30-5:30 on-site only.
57K - 72K Salary Based On Experience and Portfolio / Medical Benefits
Art Director / Senior Graphic Designer Skills, Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have 7 or more years experience in a professional setting.
Online or digital portfolio of work required.
High-Level Adobe Creative Suite knowledge (Mac) a must including, but not limited to Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Light Room, Premier Pro, After Effects. Corel knowledge a plus.
Performs all duties and expectations of a seasoned Design Professional working in an agency environment, considers yourself a ROCK-STAR with the ability to work within multiple disciplines - Print, Digital, Social, Apparel, Retail, Photo & Video.
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or equivalent.
7+ years of experience as an Art Director or Graphic Designer.
4 years within an agency environment or equivalent.

Social Media Concepts And Strategy, Image Creation, Copy-Writing, Scheduling, Posting
Brand Content Management, Branding, Collateral and Forms

Print Media: Brochure, Fliers, Business Cards
Product Development: Graphic Tee Designs, Patches, Embroidery, Garments
Spreadsheet Manipulation - Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams
