JOB DUTIES:

  1. Responsible for ensuring that the interior and exterior of each home is properly maintained and coordinates repairs/maintenance and as needed.

  1. Inspects or tests safety equipment monthly to ensure proper operation on a monthly basis. Maintains documentation of such.

  1. Ensures that all inspections are keep current and documentation of the same is properly filed.

  1. Ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Local guidelines.

  1. Assists the coordinator with the daily operations of the CTH IIs.

  1. Plans menus and coordinates the purchase of grocery and household items.

  1. Provides transportation to medical and dental appointments.

  1. Assists with MARs and medications when necessary.

  1. Manages consumer funds in accordance with SCDDSN Departmental Directives.

  1. Responsible for hiring and training competent residential staff.

  1. Responsible for scheduling staff.

  1. Ensures all residential programs are adequately staffed.

  1. Conducts Fire and Disaster drills as required.

  1. Covers shifts when staff are unavailable.

  1. Routinely evaluates staffing patterns to ensure safe staffing ratios and that consumers are accounted for at all times.

  1. Attends training sessions and/or completes required training when scheduled.

  1. Attends scheduled staff meetings and other meetings as appropriate.

  1. Schedules staff meetings at least quarterly.

  1. Willingness to go beyond assigned areas, when necessary, to insure for the health and safety of persons served, staff and the community.

  1. Performs all other duties as related to this position.
