Deburr Technician - Second Shift

We are seeking to fill a position on SECOND SHIFT, Monday - Thursday, 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM.

As a Deburr Technician, you will be at the heart of our manufacturing process, ensuring that every machined part is meticulously prepared, cleaned, and tested to meet rigorous quality standards. What You'll Do:

• Precision Preparation and      Cleaning:
  • Prepare and clean components using compressed air, water, and deburring techniques.
  • Use hand tools to remove burrs and ensure parts are flawless.
• Assembly and Testing:
  • Assemble components precisely using tools like wrenches, torque wrenches, and sockets.
  • Perform pressure testing to detect and address any leaks in product assemblies.
  • Set up and operate flow benches, ensuring assemblies meet performance specifications.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Prepare parts for dye penetrant testing and ensure they meet ISO and customer standards.
  • Engrave serial numbers for identification and maintain detailed build records in our software system.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Monitor and maintain equipment calibration and safety.
  • Assist in achieving production, efficiency, and safety goals while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Must possess a verifiable high school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Must have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Must have:

Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to be able to read and view paperwork, printouts, screens, etc.

Sufficient manual dexterity to type and operate the equipment as related to fulfilling assigned duties

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must have speaking ability; and sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics to enable and adequately perform the job

Must be able to sit/stand continuously on a daily basis 

Must be able to twist, turn, bend, and reach freely without pain or discomfort

Must have sufficient dexterity in both hands and arms to perform routine operation of equipment

Physical activity: Sitting, walking, standing, typing, holding, grasping, etc. approximately 50% of time 

Bending, reaching outwards and above shoulders, and lifting twenty pounds unassisted approximately 50% of time

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Job activities are generally performed in a lighted, temperature-controlled, and well-ventilated factory environment.
