Dental Hygienist - Part Time
IrmoSummary: Completes treatment of patient’s oral and periodontal care including patient education by performing the following duties.
Schedule: Every other Wednesday and Every other Thursday
Compensation: $53.00 per hour.
Essential Tasks include the following but are not limited to:
- Perform Cleanings of teeth and gums; take necessary x-rays, take intra-oral pictures, complete periodontal charting; address patient's hygiene and restorative needs; educate patient on what doctor will likely recommend in the form of treatment; documenting findings in the Practice Management software; clean/sterilize treatment room after each appointment.
- Reappoint patients emphasizing value and urgency for the next appointment and update the Practice Management Software.
- Provide an effective 2 and 1 Handoff, to doctor and appropriate admin team.
- Prepare, attend, and contribute to Straine Management System (SMS) Meetings.
- Sterilize and re-stock all instruments and bags after each appointment.
- Achieve individual daily hygiene production goal.
- Maintains proper knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliances and clinical skills.
Non-essential Tasks include the following but are not limited to:
- As open times occur, make calls to patients due and not scheduled in hygiene.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and State Licensing. Experience in a Dental Office helpful.
