We are pleased to announce that we are seeking a Development Operations Coordinator to join our Corporate office in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our development team, ensuring the successful coordination and completion of residential real estate development projects. Your duties will include project coordination, research and analysis, collaboration with various stakeholders, and administrative support. Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination & Support:
    • Coordinate and support the development team to ensure the successful acquisition, progress, and completion of projects in line with the business plan.
    • Assist in maintaining and updating land databases and tracking systems.
    • Coordinate project close-out documents and ensure all deliverables are met.
  • Research & Analysis:
    • Conduct research and analysis on potential land acquisition opportunities.
    • Assist the development team with entitlement, due diligence, and permit research.
    • Research ownership legal entities, ensure insurance requirements are satisfied, and track pursuit costs.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Collaborate with the land development team to facilitate and assist with horizontal development processes.
    • Coordinate communication and assist with providing necessary information for the Development Team with other departments, including Accounting and Construction departments.
    • Work with in-house and outside counsel on real estate contracts and construction agreements.
    • Coordinate signatures on important documents and distribute to appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Perform administrative duties, including maintaining development files and calendars, coordinating meetings and conference calls, filing, drafting correspondence, and updating reports as needed.
    • Coordinate arrangements for internal/external meetings and conference calls; disseminate materials for meetings and calls as necessary.
    • Maintain meeting agendas, meeting notes, project plans, and plan logs for the Development Team.
  • Financial & Reporting:
    • Assist in coordinating key financial analyses, reporting activities, and detailed financial proformas for development projects.
    • Assist with the coordination and maintenance of project timelines to ensure the timely delivery of communities.
    • Assist development team in tracking various performance and maintenance bonds.
    • Prepare presentations, reports, and support various events as needed.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Driver’s license required.

  • 1-2 years of experience in transactional real estate or construction management.
