MacLean Power System -NewberryΒ is seeking a talented EHS Manager to develop, implement and manage programs meant to protect employees' health and safety and promote environmental compliance. This role is based in our plant located in Newberry SC . What Youβll Do β’ Oversee the development of policies and programs meant to mitigate organizational impact on the environment or protect employees from health and safety risks found in the organization. β’ Establish guidelines governing the collection and maintenance of employee training records, health/safety manuals or handbooks, incident/accident reports, or other documentation. β’ Audit facilities or processes to identify weaknesses or risks and proactively develop and implement corrective actions; ensure appropriate investigation of and response to accidents or injuries. β’ Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state or local statutes or regulations including OSHA β’ Support implementation/management of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 systems β’ Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately. β’ Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.) β’ Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures. What Youβll Need to Excel in This Role β’ Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience. β’ Comprehensive knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices. β’ Working knowledge of OSHA/CAL OSHA requirements. β’ Perform complex tasks. β’ Experience leading and directing the work of other employees. β’ Previous experience in personnel decisions, departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change. β’ Excellent verbal and written communication Total Rewards Offering: offers a competitive salary and a dynamic work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and professional growth.
