Summary of the Position:
The EHS Manager reports to the Director of Maintenance and Engineering. The EHS Manager implements programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations in the Maryland and South Carolina facilities. The EHS Manager supports the Director of Maintenance and Engineering to achieve the goals of the company.

Minimum Requirements:
Ability to manage multiple complicated priorities/tasks. Strong judgment and decision-making skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Ability to interface with all types of contractors and vendors. Excellent communication skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety roles, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. This individual must be forward thinking and proactive to prepare the EHS team for first in class environmental health and safety.
Education and Experience:
Requires a Bachelorβs degree with 8+ years of experience in the field or related area or an Associateβs degree with 10+ years of progressive experience in the field. Requires a minimum of 3 years related experience in a manufacturing or GMP environment. Certification in EHS programs and practices REQUIRED. Familiarity with Corrective Action/Preventive Action Program (CAPA) for use in following up and tracking remediation to safety inspection findings. Use of CAPA to trend and monitor the effectiveness of corrections put in place. Radiation Safety Certification/Training desirable
