Qualifications

• University degree prefer
• Computer proficient, with experience in MS Excel, Word, and Project
• Ability to learn a bidding software as well as Agtek Constuction Software
• CAD experience is not required, but be willing to learn
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
  
• 2-5 years relevant work experience in similar position
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Job Description

• Read and Understand Blueprints in order to bid projects
• Perform Takeoffs of complete sitework construction
• Ability to use a Spreadsheet in order to complete a bid
• Understand building specifications and plan detail in order to accurately estimate
• Work with a team of estimators and project managers
• Talk with Subcontractors and Developers as needed
• Be organized in how you perform your job
• Evaluate any cost savings and improvements when available
