Essential Job Functions

  • Greeting guests and responding to requestsΒ 
  • Maintain a healthy and safe environment in guest roomsΒ 
  • Assign tasks inspect work to ensure it’s up to standardΒ 
  • Provide training for team membersΒ 
  • Assist in the overall supervision of the departmentΒ 
  • Inventory supplies and provide lists of needed items in a timely fashionΒ 
  • Investigate complaints regarding housekeeping services and takes corrective actionΒ 
  • Changing bed linen and making beds
  • Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soapΒ 
  • Sweeping and mopping floorsΒ 
  • Vacuuming carpetsΒ 
  • Dusting and polishing furnitureΒ 
  • Emptying trash containersΒ 
  • Cleaning public areas, such as corridorsΒ 
  • Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needsΒ 
  • Updating status of guest rooms on assignment boardΒ 
  • Restocking cleaning cart and/or suppliesΒ 
  • Follow all health and safety rulesΒ 
  • Attends meetings as required
  • Interact withΒ  guestsΒ Β to ensure their total satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalentΒ 
  • Experience in customer service, forward-facing, or other guest related positionsΒ 
  • Experience cleaning in a customer focused environment
  • Experience in the hospitality industry as a room attendant or similar roleΒ preferred
  • Experience supervising othersΒ preferred
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task and interact with people underΒ pressure

Physical: Frequent standing, and moving about the facilities. Handling objects, products and equipment. OccasionallyΒ  push, pull and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must communicate information and ideas so others will understand.Β  Must observe details at close range.Β
