Job Description

As a Material Coordinator you will handle all back end, supply chain logistics for the ordering and delivery of production spares for a 7x24 production spare part inventory, totaling over 20,000+ separate SKU's. This is a position that requires on site presence to work with plant production planners, storeroom operations management and corporate purchasing.

You will report to the Rockwell Automation Inventory Asset Manager at the facility and work onsite in Columbia, SC.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will evaluate current stock on hand for critical parts, reviewing daily replenishment needs and supplier deliveries of products.Β 
  • Provide support to the plant for all breakdown expedites with the supplierΒ 
  • Manage all invoices on hold that are preventing payment to suppliersΒ 
  • Support projects for Inventory cycle counting, specialty inventory control, inventory relocation and correctionsΒ 
  • perform daily audits of the previous days inventory activities to ensure accuracy of transactions and inventory counts.Β 
  • Collect daily Indicators, identify problems, establish facts, and make recommendations to resolve issuesΒ 

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with ERP based purchasing processes, vendor management skills and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) skills
  • Proficient in PC-based reports, spreadsheets and inventory management systemsΒ 
  • Experience with MRP activities within an ERP of a Manufacturing SettingΒ 
  • work with a variety of people at multiple technical and management levels
  • Computer proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, enterprise systems, presentation programs, etc.Β 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management
