DescriptionOverview:Β The Lead Associate, Crossdock primary duty is to execute accurate inventory practices, provide excellent customer service for pick up orders, and Β support completion of white glove home delivery routes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:Β The Lead Associate, Cross Dock responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Checking-in product received at the assigned cross dock.
- Managing the siteβs inventory control, which includes preparing the necessary reports to document the results of stock checks, cycle counts and other inventory audit procedures.
- Resolving any delivery or customer service issues that arise.
- Assisting with any other tasks or special projects as assigned by the Cross Dock Manager.
- Complete home delivery routes to company standards.
- Support in-home delivery and installation when Home Delivery and Installation Specialist is out of office.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- Computer and clerical experience preferred.
- Must be able to constantly work in an open/outdoor warehouse environment.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years working in a cross dock or warehouse distribution center.
Skills & Abilities:
- Professional in appearance and manner.
- Able to communicate professionally.
- Detailed and able to multi-task and shift priorities, as required.
- Must be able to perform white glove home delivery.
- Can lift 75 lbs. unassisted, and up to 250 lbs. with assistance.
- Must be able to occasionally position self to maintain/move product throughout the facility and be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
Working Conditions:Β
- Full time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to work in an open/outdoor warehouse environment and outdoor conditions.
- May require prolonged periods of standing, walking, and lifting.Β
