Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Therapist

Irmo Counseling, LLC is seeking a fully licensed clinician from the following disciplines LMFT, LPC, LISW-CP to join our private practice. We are community of therapist who offer comprehensive mental health counseling to children, adolescents, adults, families and couples.

Qualifications:

  • Fully Licensed to practice in South Carolina (LPC, LMFT, LISW-CP)
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field
  • At minimum two (2) years of clinical experience in direct mental health counseling
  • Evidence of Continuing Education trainings in evidence-based therapies
  • Understanding of diagnosis using current DSM and relevant treatment options
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must pass a background check

Knowledge, Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Complete documentation and other administrative duties in compliance with policies and procedures
  • Provide mental health counseling using evidence-based practices to maintain a high standard of care
  • Abide by HIPAA as well as patient, organizational, and practice standards for confidentiality
  • Attend staff meetings, other work-related meetings, training, and perform other related job duties as required or requested.
  • Provide thorough bio-psycho-social mental health assessments for patients
  • Provide ongoing individual, family, and group therapy to patients
  • Participate in peer consultation once monthly
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships characterized by mutual respect with coworkers and clients
