Maintenance Technician Position Overview:Β 

  • Our Maintenance Technicians hold key positions. They directly attribute to keeping our residents happy and satisfied by delivering on our promise to provide excellent maintenance service. This position is ideal for those who have up to 1 year’s experience in the operations and maintenance of assets (apartment homes and/or office buildings) and have proven abilities in meeting and exceeding expectations using individual talent and drive.

How You'll Contribute to The Workplace:Β 

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor Turns, vacant units and move outs
  • Maintain exterior appearance of property to present good β€œstreet appeal”
  • Completion of work orders
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that building systems and physical condition of asset doesn’t deteriorate
  • Perform routine trash pick-up daily
  • Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work needed
  • Check irrigation systems on a regular basis
  • Trash compactor and pool maintenance during season
  • Plumbing, carpentry, drywall, insulating, roofing, pool maintenance, appliance installation and repairing buildings, floors or stairs,
  • Basic electrical experience
  • Fabricate and repair of appliances, etc.
  • Landscaping
  • Will participate in on-call rotation
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • CFC, CPO, HVAC Certifications (Recommended)

Other Qualifications

  • Must have own vehicle and tools
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance
