Position Purpose:

Responsible for the management of new group sales, renewals and billing teams. Provides direction and oversight to ensure all company standards and needs of the customer are being met. Respond to audits timely and professionally.Β 

Logistics:

This is a full-time position working (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm working on-site at 4101 Percival Rd. Columbia SC, in an office environment. Hybrid one day a week following training.

What You Will Do:

  • Manages staff to include disciplinary actions, performance reviews, projects, and resource planning. Selects, trains, and motivates employees. Ensures complete, accurate, and timely processing of data submitted for new/renewal groups. Ensures that all divisional and marketing requirements are met.

  • Coordinates with marketing, claims, underwriting and other areas to ensure information is provided in a timely manner and that such information addresses individual department needs. Coordinates with sales training and marketing representatives to ensure agent education needs relating to enrollment processes are met.

  • Monitors department performance. Prepares/Analyzes reports and department statistics (sales, retention). Identifies obstacles to successful enrollments and recommends changes to improve upon existing processes.

  • Prepares, monitors, and analyzes cost center expenditures. Approves disbursements and purchase requisitions for supplies, external vendors, and resource materials.

To Qualify for This Position, You Will Need:

  • Required Education: Bachelor's

  • Required Work Experience: 5 years customer service and/or sales and marketing experience. 2 of the 5 years' experience have been in a supervisory role or equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above.
