Job Responsibilities

Under general supervision, staff member will provide counseling interventions to patients with serious mental illness to promote recovery services for patients with severe mental illnesses ensuring linkages for therapeutic needs.



1. Β Provides diversified outpatient therapy services to patients with severe mental illnesses. Β Provides individual and/or group treatment to patients to assist patients with treatment issues.

2. Β Will maintain clinical charts in accordance with agency standards.

3. Β Will attend and participate in staff meetings and make recommendations for patient's treatment according to patient’s needs

and recommendations made by physician.

4. Β Will attend and complete Program Improvement and other trainings as deemed necessary.

5. Β  Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Minimum Requirement:

A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications
